Why do I need a BCeID account?
Many government services are available online. You need a BCeID account to use them. It's free to create, and you can securely log in to participating services.
There are three types of BCeID accounts. This page is for the Basic account.
Government services you can use with a Basic BCeID account include:
- Court Services Online – for filing court documents that BC courts allow to be filed online.
- Online Divorce Assistant – a tool that helps with filing joint divorce forms.
- My Self Serve – for income and disability services in BC.
- My Family Services – to apply for the Affordable Child Care Benefit.
